Sahari Zanzibar

Everything in a hotel is good everything is perfect , the rooms are so lovely especially room 17 and 10, the cleaners are so good they make a good design everyday , restaurant team is good halima and especially voiner is good she knows what is good for customers she do beyond and above . The only thing I want to advice is to change the breakfast menu makes it good the menu choice ,as a solo they makes me enjoy and makes me feel at home and hellen did my hair nicely. I definitely come back in future I recommend this hotel for others

I have just returned from my two-week trip to Zanzibar and was able to have the wonderful experience of staying in this incredibly beautiful hotel which has so much charm and is looked after by a wonderful Sahari staff family and in my opinion every position is perfectly filled. From the very beginning you are given a very warm welcome and everything is shown to you and explained really well. The rooms are very lovingly decorated and always clean. The service staff are very friendly and the food is just perfect with enough choice for everyone and very beautifully presented. There is also a tour guide on site. We also went on tours and everything always went smoothly and to our complete satisfaction :) We also had great live African music at dinner which turned into a great party with a real vibe and we really enjoyed it. The location is also faulty - beautiful sunrises and moonrises right on the doorstep on a sea horizon. Unfortunately it doesn't look as great in the pictures as it was, but I enjoyed the views. In my opinion, the Sahari is in the perfect location. You can get anywhere in no time and it doesn't matter if you come alone, as a couple, family or friends, everyone thinks it's great here. I also had great conversations with almost all of the guests there and there was someone of every kind and everyone shares my opinion that this is a wonderfully loving place and, like me, they would recommend it to everyone. You have peace and quiet when you want it or you can talk to the staff. Everyone is happy to talk to you and that's what I liked best because they make it the place it is :) If there are any technical problems, there is a super maintenance person on site who will take care of it immediately. I could go on writing like this for hours but I don't want to take away from you the experience that you can have like I did and will never forget and I will definitely go back on my next trip to Zanzibar. This was a great hotel on the beach just north of Paje. We booked the deluxe sea view room and it looked nothing like the photos online - they have redone this room (I don't which others were redecorated but not all of them - this was September 2024). It was such a nice surprise as they had no photos of this online. It was all shades of sand - calm and relaxing with modern, light wood furniture. If they do all the rooms like this it will be an outstanding hotel. The private deck with the sea view was fantastic with very comfortable chairs for reading or relaxing. The shower was the best we had in Africa. The bed was very comfortable. The pool area was great too - a bit bigger than it looks online. The restaurant had great food - we had breakfast here, one lunch and one dinner and all was good. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The beach here does have some seaweed but we still enjoyed walking on it. When we were there it was low tide for much of the daytime hours and so swimming would be hard. We walked down to Paje one day (only do this at low tide as your path will be cut off by higher water) and had lunch and swam there, then took a taxi back. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at this hotel.

Great staff great location great food great pool lovely gardens. Absolutely fantastic relaxing place to stay after the chaos of Kilimanjaro and Safari part of our holiday. Very chilled. The staff made it for us, couldn’t be lovelier. Beautiful beach with some activities about 15 minutes south

Refreshing, comfortable, kickback small boutique hotel on the lovely beach of Zanzibar. Clean, and comfortable bed and pillow. Bed was extra large king. Totally cute decor. Teas & coffee with kettle. Fresh water provided. Very cool because no plastic. Not even water bottles. They use glass. Baskets not plastic bags. Yoga space . Was very casual. I never felt watched. Ok, service A+ from housecleaning to garden and grounds, . Best waiter and waitress. Voiner, she was excellent. She went above and beyond . And always with a big smile. Very polite. All employees, positive attitudes, totally happy. For me make a huge differences when on holiday. You wont be disappointed. I give them all a gold star.

My wife and I had a really nice stay here after our safari. The room was clean and bright with a balcony and view of the sea. The food was tasty. Nice little pool in the courtyard with sun beds there and also in front of the sea. Most importantly all the staff were wonderful! I really mean everybody from reception to the excursions desk to the dining staff.
